Highlights of the Big Day!

Traveling ***

Along with all of wonderfulness of a temple wedding there is also the nitty gritty of getting to and from. This is a picture of my lap with all of the electronic gadgetry we were using to navigate and communicate.

We spent a lot of time in this rented minivan moving very slowly in tons of traffic--the whole weekend. We have decided the only time to go anywhere in the D.C. area is after 11 p.m. at night--otherwise add at least an extra hour to wherever you are going!

People get hungry during a long day!

The Wedding ***

My groom emerges first!

Congratulations!

The parents!

The Siblings!

The dress!

The rings and bouquet!

The Temple ***

Beautiful grounds !

The Visitor's Center through a rainy windshield: There is a Christus statue visible!

A magnificent temple!

The Wedding Dinner ***

The entrance to Woo Lae Oak Korean Restaurant in Tyson's Corner. Oops, this was no rehearsal. This was the real thing!

John and Sara chose Korean BBQ which featured Bulgogi beef and many other dishes. Some people were nervous to try new foods but from what I saw and heard, it was enjoyed by all!

The cake!

Can't forget a picture of the flowers!

The Washington D.C. Tour***
Riding on the tour bus there was lots to see everywhere we looked!

We were glad for a chance to get off at some places and get a close up look!

It finally stopped raining so made a pleasant end to a wonderful day!

Wish we could have been there, but great to see most of your family! A happy bride and groom! That gorgeous temple! And a little peek at DC. That meal looks delish! Sorry I missed that too! Becky

Congrats to the new couple.
Fun to see your family together at the temple.
