Pizza, Pools and Pajamas!

We had a fun evening last Friday!  We had the Melanchuk four and the Perry three for playing in the pools, eating pizza and then everyone had fun getting in their pajamas!    (Everyone also had an ice cream cone too but that doesn't start with "P")

Thanks to Darryl for making delicious homemade pizza that everyone enjoyed!

When everyone was in their pajamas and ready to leave,

we told the cousins to give each other a hug.

David and Daniel are still getting to know each other.

Anyone for ice cream??

"What A Wonderful Day!"

Elizabeth made this drawing and I have to say every day was wonderful with the McClellans here!

Here is a partial list of the things we did (in addition to the San Francisco trip): Board games and card games, dolls, scooters, jigsaw puzzles, wading pools, kayaking, Little People, Mr. Potato Head, grocery store, jewelry making, puppet show, trips to the park, a major backyard glow party, shopping at Michaels, arts and crafts of various kinds, nerf guns, Bingo for Ice Cream cones, Family Home Evening with major help by the girls, we watched "Pollyanna," "Heidi," "The Parent Trap," and "Anne of Green Gables," and we managed to fit in a trip to the Folsom Zoo the day they left!!  Enjoy some photos of our fun!

And one of the highlights was this fun idea.  I thought up a few stories about myself and made up names for them.  Then each night before bed the girls took turns picking a story to hear and we checked them off until they got to hear them all.  It was a fun way to end the day!

Water Fun in San Francisco!

If there were to be a theme for our trip to San Francisco, it would have been WATER!

After the beach, the girls had fun swimming that night in the hotel pool:

The next morning we headed to Golden Gate Park for a hike to see this waterfall and Stowe Lake.

Then we headed to Tiburon to ride the ferry to Angel Island...

....where the girls had more fun at the water!

Then another ferry ride back...

...and good bye to Angel Island and San Francisco!
