Yikes For Hikes!

The first hike was Monday evening up the large hill behind the home:
Up on top!
The view down the other side to the reservoir...
...and looking back down to the valley.
There's the house....way down there!
They all made it down safely!
The next day this group headed on a harder hike...
This time it was up the mountain to the right of the hill behind the house!
It was a difficult hike...
...with some scary stuff along the way, including not being on a trail and a boulder crashing down towards the littler ones!
But they all made it back safely and a few actually made it to the top!

Off To A Great Start!

On Monday evening everyone had arrived and after dinner,  we gathered for some activities!
 First, a Get-To-Know-You game:
Then it was time for a Talent Show.
Each family was allotted 5 minutes to use in any way to share some talents.
The Melanchuk Family:
The Texas Harrisons:
The Kansas Harrisons:
They performed the skit: The Invisible Bench
A nice touch was Jeff playing the ukulele and Sam playing the trombone!
The Utah Harrisons:
They performed the Studio C Sketch, "International Relations"
The McClellan Family:
They performed the skit, Where's My Royal Paper?
And they sang part of a favorite song until their time was up!
The Perry Family had a video skit for us to watch!
David
 Joshua
 Hannah
 They sang songs...
 They made faces...

And finally the California Harrisons:
It was a fun way to start our Family Reunion!
