Thanksgiving Fun!

Puzzles are fun!
The kids' table is fun!
Personalized place markers are fun!
What are these kids pointing at in amazement?
A giant chocolate turkey is fun!
(About a foot high and filled with candy!)
Playing with cousins is fun!
A Thanksgiving play is fun!
Kathryn was the director and narrator:
The Pilgrims on the ship heading to America:
The Indians greet them:
They find a turkey to have for their feast:
The feast is enjoyed by all!
The cast takes a bow!
Thanksgiving is fun!

Hbannasmiles!

Hannah had fun receiving emails on her birthday as well as these gifts!
New hoodie, shoes and boots!
Frozen piano book!
And more Frozen stuff...
And a Beanie Boo from the bros!

Soccer Time!

It's time for the 2nd annual adults versus kids Thanksgiving Day Family Soccer Game!
The adults were stoked this year before the game started.  Last year they lost: 10-4
The game begins on a beautiful Thanksgiving morning...
Lots of cheering from the sidelines...
The goalie for the adults even has two helpers!
But the kids are a force to be reckoned with!
They stick together!
And in the end their strategy paid off:
Kids win 15-10!
The losers: What a bunch of turkeys!
 Added for cuteness!
 Happy Thanksgiving and let's eat!!

Bouncing for A's!

We joined the Perry kids one afternoon for some fun at Bounce U!
It can be a bit expensive but this time it was really cheap!
If you brought your report card in, a certain amount was deducted for each "A."   It cost less than $5.00 for all five kids!
Jacob and Lily had a lot of fun on the big slide!
We're proud of all of our smart grandchildren!

Christmas Gift: Outing #11!

This month our outing included an overnight stay and a beautiful drive through the Feather River Canyon!
It was our first time to stay at a B&B and we loved it!
Dan picked well!
The front porch of the Bidwell House Inn in Chester, CA:
This is a view of the back of the Inn.  On the left is a sun room and we stayed in a room in the middle.
We spent the evening in this lovely living room which we had to ourselves...
...and dined here in the morning on a 3-course breakfast!
(One of the courses was dessert!)
Chester is just a few miles from Lassen National Park...
...and close to the shores of Lake Almanor:

On our way back home we took a few minutes to hike a very tiny portion of the Pacific Crest Trail which crosses Highway 70.
The trail is 2,665 mile long from Mexico to Canada--sort of like a western Appalachian trail.
I love celebrating our anniversary (through a Christmas present) all year!
