Utah After Kirtland!

We were able to visit in Utah for a few days after our trip to Kirtland in August.

Inspiring Kirtland! Day 1

 We loved our most recent trip!

We learned so much!

Interesting, but our first visit was to the Whitney home in Kirtland.

We wondered why we just toured this home when there were other things to see nearby.

The Prophet Joseph and Emma lived there for a few weeks when they first arrived.

We learned we would be visiting the various residences of the prophet in order.

It was a great idea and now we have straight in our minds a lot of the history of the area.

Second residence was the Isaac Morley farm.  This is near where the original home that was built for Joseph and Emma stood.  This home houses missionaries!

 This area is considered the Sacred Grove of Kirtland.

It was a great start to our visit to be in this sacred area!
