Rainy Day Reunion Fun!
This is what faced us for two days of the Reunion!
Here were some great ways to have fun anyway--hold a baby!
Make funny faces! (Sarah tried to copy Katie)
Eat! (We did a lot of that)
Pull out your loose tooth! (Courtney had a visit from the tooth fairy)
Have a Cupcake Walk!
Elizabeth was afraid to play as she was worried she wouldn't win. Guess what? She was the first winner of a cupcake!
Play lots of Ping Pong!

Marry Me, Marina!
I understand that Vovo asked Lorne one time what the 3M's stood for on the ring he was wearing that he received when he retired as a top executive with the 3M Corporation. He turned to her and said: Well, right now to me they stand for: Marry Me Marina! And that was how he proposed to a very shocked Vovo Harrison. But after some time getting used to the idea, she agreed and they were married on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Grant Bangerter cabin above Heber City and Strawberry Resevoir in Ashley National Forest.
Here is the happy couple on Saturday morning!
And here they are just before the ceremony!
The wedding guests: grandchildren and great grandchildren!
Stake President Howard Bangerter performs the ceremony!
Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Joines!
Congratulatory hugs from great granddaughters!
Marlyn and Lissa had a beautiful dinner prepared for all of the guests!
Lorne and Marina with some of Lorne's family: They got to eat in the nicer upstairs!
But it was a lot of fun downstairs with all the kids! (There were 28 ages 15 and under)
Another happy couple that enjoyed the wedding festivities!

The 90th Birthday Celebration!
On Friday evening we had a 90th Birthday celebration for Vovo!
Everyone was trying to squish in waiting for the guest of honor!
Here she is!
Here we are clapping after singing Happy Birthday!
Here she is opening a birthday gift from the whole family!
We all contributed squares to a quilt which Marlyn sewed together.
It was beautiful!
Here are the squares from our family:
