Very appropriate as we started off the birthday celebration by going to the temple:
I received a couple of nice gifts.
The first one was this Outdoor Chair...
...and a trip to a beautiful spot to enjoy it:

Even the beaches have pine trees...
We did a nice hike...

Then a gift of theater tickets to see:
I didn't really want to see something scary for my birthday. Birthdays are scary enough! ("When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead on his estate with terror etched on his face and the paw prints of a gigantic hound beside his body, the great detective Sherlock Holmes is summoned, with his trusty assistant Watson in tow, to unravel the mystery and investigate an ancient curse.")
But this was in an outdoor theater over looking the lake:

We loved it and laughed a lot!
We ate dinner in our chairs before the show started which made it fun.
The theater was literally right on a beach. That's sand where we sat in our chairs!
It was pretty dark by intermission
at about 8:30 p.m. but we also got to see lots of stars!
So glad we didn't have to drive back home but could spend the night:
Last gift: I got my own Lifetime Senior Pass to National Parks:
