Katie is turning 8 years old today!

And she is a very good dancer and athlete!

Keeping the Faith!

Nathaniel turned 3 months old today!

That is a big milestone for him!

I am constantly amazed at all the kind and thoughtful people who have helped the Melanchuk family so much!  

A neighbor takes the girls to school and brings them home every day!

An older couple door ditch surprises for the whole family on a regular basis!

Before the baby was home, a family signed up to bring them dinner.  Instead, they gave them a gift card to a fancy restaurant and had the kids over to their house for dinner and babysitting!

And my good friend, Beth, made this beautiful quilt for him!

 We continue to have faith in God's will for Nathaniel and our faith in the human race has been greatly increased as well!

Pears!

Dan was trying some different photos with his camera and he took this one:

We love dried pears and so we found some tasty pears and Dan dehydrated several batches for us to have throughout the winter. 

Just one of the many things I am enjoying about his retirement!

In The Mail!

It's fun to send packages to the grandkids but today we received a package!

Thanks to Sarah for all of the artwork and fun things she made for Grandparents Day at her school.

We are sorry we live to far away and had to miss her special day but so glad she wanted to share

a bit of the day with us!

Kathryn's Baptism!

This beautiful girl was baptized today!

Unfortunately Nathaniel was not able to be there.

He was just released from the hospital yesterday and was home with a nurse.

 Hannah was one of the speakers at the baptism! 

She gave an amazing and thoughtful talk on the Holy Ghost that she prepared herself.

Fun At Four!

 David had a fun little party yesterday afternoon!
