We have been walking the bluffs of The Sea Ranch for many, many years. It is 10 miles long. This time we thought it would be fun to get a Trails map and start at the south end and head north. We think we have walked on every section but we've never kept track. Now we are! Here is what we accomplished on this trip. This is one side of the map. We did a couple of short walks on the other side to check out seals but as you can see we made it about half way.
(It also takes some walking to get to these trails and back)
Enjoy highlights from our walks!
Day 1: We arrived at 4 p.m. so after dinner we took our first walk.
Day 2: Morning...
...and early evening.
Day 3: This seemed to be "seal" day. Morning walk...
Evening walk:
...and early evening again. It was raining a light mist.
Day 4:
Only got in an evening walk since we were gone all day for our outing:
They have just put in a few posts with QR codes. We found them so interesting to learn about the history here! Here is Dan pulling up the code which told us why they named this area Smuggler's Cove. It was all about bootleg liquor.
Day 5: Morning walk:
Evening walk:
We are anxious to return and fill in some more of the map!
