Busy day for the Melanchuks:
Boating in the morning with Michael on the wakeboard...

Amelia finished up at the Mexico MTC...
...and headed to Honduras!
We celebrated Father's Day at the Perrys.
Brian made a delicious dinner with steak tacos
and homemade salsa and guacamole.
Dessert was fresh pies from Marie Callendar's!
We had fun playing some games!
We taught Joshua how to play Flip 7 and the whole family joined in.
Too bad Grandma forgot the family rule about letting young ones win!

They were in charge of 11 meals for 50 people.

Grandpa and I had a fun outing for his birthday.
We drove out to the Sacramento River
and enjoyed the beautiful fields near by.
and followed it all the way to the town of Rio Vista.
There were bridges to cross
and good views of the river.
We had dinner at a restaurant on a golf course,
and we loved where they sat us because of the view.
We attended this event which was held
at 700 different locations around the United States!
We were at one of our local chapels.

The McClellans watched it at Botanica in Wichita!
Camille and Sarah posed in front of some bones in honor of Lilan and Caleb
Lilian fell and broke her collar bone!
And Caleb has become obsessed with bones, broken bones and how they heal.
Meanwhile most of the Perrys were participating in a stake youth Trek.
The activity ended at the Sacramento Temple!
They also attended the Watch Party in Gilroy
near Mt. Madonna where they were camping.
Afterwards they found out how many 10-person tents
can fit in their backyard (7)
as they had to dry out and clean them. (14 total tents.)
Every night was a meal from different cultures represented in their stake.
For the last night the Tongan ward roasted a pig!
They ended the night with an amazing spiritual thought by Brian!
The very next day the Perry family came here for a birthday dinner for Grandpa!
David won the game posted below and so he got to light the candles on the cake.
