Random Photos!

If you have a blog, you find yourself taking random pictures thinking that you "might" use them in a post sometime.  I do this all the time.   Here are a few from the last couple of weeks.  

We had a LOT of rain in March.  During one downpour our backyard was really getting flooded!

Before I left for Seattle, I stocked up on some food for Dan.  Here are three of his favorites:

I spent a fun morning playing Play Dough with Kathryn and Daniel while Amelia was at her preschool.  Kathryn is very creative!

Kathryn made this teddy bear for 1-day-old Michael and was so pleased that he seemed to be looking at it!

Dan and I were talking about how lucky we feel to live in this day of amazing technology including the fact that we knew the days before most of it existed.  We think we appreciate it more!  We had fun while we were apart using "Facetime" to have video conversations.  We just couldn't get over the fact that on our little handhelds we were able to see and talk to each other!  Here I am in the play room in Seattle talking to Dan at home.  He can see me and I can see him.  Wow!!   What's next?

The Waiting Game!

I arrived on Amanda's due date, March 7th (although the doctor's calculations said March 3rd) and we began waiting for the new baby to come.

The kids had fun with their new Singamajigs.

One rainy day I took them to the "Running Room" at the Community Center where for a small fee they can play indoors in a large gym with lots of fun toys.

Might as well give Daniel a hair cut while we wait!

Mainly we just sat around.  The kids love my Ipod Touch!!

Saturday, March 5th: 

It was a crazy day with phone calls and emails and texts back and forth with family all day long, with tears and smiles and sadness and congratulations all rolled up together.

Welcome to Aubrey Janis Harrison born at 6:44 p.m. 1 pound 9 ounces, 12 inches long, 27 weeks

and a Sweet Farewell to Rachel LaVaun Harrison, stillborn, 11 ounces, 10 inches long

The roller coaster ride continues.  Hold on tight!

Jury Update: The Sentencing!

He was sentenced today!  Our jury foreman took all of our email addresses so the prosecutor could let us know the final outcome.

Is THIS worth not paying your water bill and then taking it to the next level???

He got 3 years 8 months in federal prison!!!!!!!

The system works--at least this time!

I wonder if it will work on Dan's trial??  That's right! Yesterday he was sworn in as a juror on a criminal trial!!
