Christmas Eve/Christmas Day!

We spent Christmas Eve at the Perrys with a short program and a Shepherd's Supper.
Hannah demonstrated how she can make a program cover in 1 minute.
Amazing!
David shared some artwork including this picture he painted.
Joshua played the flute.
MaryAnn showed her favorite ponderize scripture messages.
Brian and Hannah sang a duet.
Grandma played this game and taught about the carol, God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen.
(Let me know if you need answers)
David played the piano...
...and Lily played the piano.
Grandpa led us on the chimes and we also sang lots of carols.
Later, Hannah shared something fun with us.  When she was 11 and at Activity Days, they made a time capsule ornament to be opened when they were 16.  So she opened it with all of us watching.  It was different notes that told about things that were important to her back in 2016 and questions she had for her future self.
On Christmas Day the Perrys came to our house for dinner.
We got to see some of their gifts and had fun playing and visiting.
It was a very Merry Christmas!

Chico Family Christmas Party!

We had a fun family Christmas party in Chico hosted by the Melanchuks.
It included two wonderful meals and lots of activities.
Here is the schedule:
The party stations included playing the chimes.  The kids were divided into two groups by age.
Another station was playing Christmas scattergories and Emoji Christmas songs.
The final station was cookie decorating:
We took a tour of the nut processing plant.  We couldn't take pictures inside but here we are getting ready and getting instructions.
The finished product back at the Melanchuks.
It is a fascinating tour!
There were other games going on and a puzzle.
There was a talent show which included this amazing duet.
Nathaniel did a somersault.
Hannah had made a 64-question Kahoot all about Christmas.
"Ornament" which was Nathaniel and I came in first place!
What a fun day!
