Are We Going Crazy Yet?

We recently had a Zoom meeting with our ministering brother and his son.  It was very nice.  At the end, he asked us how we were doing since we didn't have the busyness of our temple calling.  He asked us if we were doing well or going a little insane?
Well, here's the answer:
I just finished this Halloween puzzle and I'm ready to start on the Christmas puzzles!
Then for some reason I felt compelled to take a picture of my lunch for the day!
And Grandpa just finished working many hours on a book about his mission.  When the published book arrived in the mail, we both laughed uncontrollably when we saw the title page!
So, yes, I think we are a little crazy right now!

Fun In The Mountains!

Time to leave the hot, dry, brown valley and head for the mountains!
Good bye, scrub oaks!
Pine trees just make you feel better and cooler!
We found the Melanchuks at their campsite in the Little Beaver Campground in Plumas National Forest in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
They were having a great time, although the hatchet throwing made me a little nervous!
They had a very nice campsite!
Off to the lake: Little Grass Valley Reservoir, a very short walk from their campsite!
Now for some fun!
Daniel and Amelia:
Michael makes a splash!
Dan and Darryl are solving the world's problems, I bet!
Nathaniel wanted to hike to the other side of the reservoir with Kathryn and Grandpa:
Food, stories, dirt, tents, camping chairs, games, tall trees: Lots of camping memories from the beautiful mountains of California!

July: A Fun Week!

We can't attend any big events or be with large groups, but we got invited to this concert where we were the only guests!
They each did a fabulous job!
It was high quality entertainment!!
The refreshments: Creme Brulee
The high quality continued!
Thank you for the wonderful concert!
I think you should all go for a swim!
Earlier in the week after several days of 100 degrees plus, we made a pasta salad and headed for greener pastures.
Up Highway 50 to the Ice House Reservoir area.
It was so great seeing so much green!
The reservoir was very pleasant.
We found a pull out area in the forest and set up for a picnic and relaxing in the cooler weather.
Meanwhile back at home we did this puzzle:
It was a good week!

July: On We Go!

These made me laugh:
Grandpa has been digitizing all of his slides and then throwing the slides away.
He's making a book about his mission!
I made some special temple masks for myself!
The Josh Harrisons had a great 4th of July.
Sophie helped make this patriotic cherry pie:
They all watched Hamilton:
And Josh is recovering well from his bike accident:

We love this calendar page that Bethany made:
And I'm almost finished with my newest puzzle: Camping with Grandma and Gramps!
