This and That in April, Part 1!

Happy April!

Lots of different ways to think about the importance of Easter.

Amanda made this display and called it: This Is The Christ.

I had my display out for a full month.

Passover meal at the Melanchuks

Perrys had everyone share favorite pictures of Christ and scriptures.

We joined them on Good Friday for dinner.

Nathaniel likes to sing: "He Is Risen" and he tried to sing it

 every day the month before Easter.

Darryl makes these incredible eggs. 

He uses a tool that puts wax on.  

Then dye it in a color.  

Then more wax and the next color.

Amanda said it was fabulous. 

 100 person choir and Davis County community orchestra

 performed at their high school.

It was great having a wonderful weekend of 

General Conference while celebrating Easter!

Peter received his endowment in the Oklahoma City temple!

That same day Heidi was with them, Amanda was at the Bountiful temple

 and MaryAnn enjoyed some time in the Sacramento temple!

Amelia is home from BYUI getting ready for her mission.

She spent some time at Temple Square..

...and then received her endowment in the Bountiful temple!

Camille went with the Young Women and her parents went as well

 to watch the BYU Women's basketball team in the playoffs in Wichita.

We saw her on TV!

Spring break: 

Playing Dominion with expansion sets

and playing Uno Attack with some fun new rules.

We actually got some rain which is big news around here.

We had a couple of evenings when we had big downpours with lots of thunder and lightning... 

...and we even lost power.  

What is more romantic than playing Uno Flip by candlelight?!
