November was full of lots of good times with family!
On the 4th we met Darryl and Amanda at the
Feather River temple and then we went out to dinner.
I forgot to take pictures but here are some that remind me of our time together.
John made a business trip to San Diego and saw this beautiful sunset.
From the 9th to the 13th we made a trip to Kansas.
We spent Friday with Jeff's family and had lots of fun including playing chimes and several fun games including Gimme That and Wavelength.
Jeff played the guitar for us. He's taking lessons.
Over at the McClellans on Saturday we heard Camille playing the clarinet
and Sarah was busy studying for her AP classes. The girls also played some nice duets on the piano.
While Sarah was at a swim meet we took Camille to the Nifty Nut House...
...and then to see the possible site for the Wichita Temple
We also took the girls with us to Church on Sunday.
Suzie taught a great lesson in Relief Society.
We played some games in the afternoon including Five Crowns and Rack-O.
We also visited Heidi in the hospital.
Glad to finally report after 5 days there she is doing much better!
I kept wondering why there were so many tennis balls on the ground everywhere?
We learned it is the fruit of the Osage Orange tree!
On the 16th MaryAnn went to the temple...
...and we had Jacob and Lily with us since they were off-track.
Jacob is learning the flute
and Lily is doing very well on the Recorder as well as the piano.
She has played prelude music for Primary.
We got to go to Wendy's and enjoyed some frosties.
And then to the Sea Quest Aquarium in Folsom.
Peter was in a play at school and we had fun rehearsing some lines with him.
The play was "Double Trouble on the Prairie" a melodrama about two twins, Timothy and Jimothy. Peter played the part of Mr. Fester, the local taxidermist.

Caleb is sure growing and we have watched videos of him crawling!
Perrys and Melanchuks each drove about an hour
to meet at the Feather River temple for baptisms on November 21st.

Caleb's first Thanksgiving and the Shafers were in Clinton with Great Uncle John!
Hannah and Kathryn were excited about the snow in Provo. This is out Hannah's window.
McClellans celebrated Thanksgiving at home this year.
And they also had some snow!
Amanda had her birthday and the kids insisted on lighting all 47 candles.
Now that is the way to Light the World!
And Happy 18th Birthday to Hannah too!
