We thought it would be nice to spend the last official day of summer heading up to the mountains. There is a beautiful reservoir not too far away called Ice House Reservoir.
There are very nice picnic grounds that we had to ourselves.
And we stopped on our way there for some yummy treats to add to our picnic lunch!
On the way back we stopped at another picnic area by a beautiful stream.
Such a great day for relaxing...and getting in touch with your roots!
