This and That in February, Part 1!

 

Out my desk window February 1st:

The Melanchuks had their first fire in their fireplace.

Looks wonderful!

Heidi and Charles at a BYU Basketball game in Oklahoma.

Elizabeth is in the University Chorale.

They sang at the Devotional on February 3rd.

Lilian can sit up by herself!  Next she needs to learn to smile while she's sitting up!

The schools in Andover have a different dress theme for every game.

The theme for this game was Hawaiian.  Camille is in the forefront, 2nd row up, 4th person in, playing the clarinet.

Nathaniel is practicing for the school play, Alice in Wonderland, in March.

He will play the following parts:

Friend 1 (friend of Alice's sister, Matilda)

Ensemble Caterpillar

Ensemble Card

Ensemble Lobster

Sarah got to be a timer for a BYU Swim Meet

Elizabeth and Sarah are both members of the ROC.

Here they are at a basketball game with their fellow fans. 

Heidi saw them on TV and got this photo.  She circled her girls.

Another concert and movie for Bethany and her family!

Sam and Lena had a "really fun" Valentine's Day picnic!

Perrys had Valentine's Day donuts to be eaten with chopsticks!

Then they solved a mystery.

Jacob was especially good at it!

We had a good outing on Valentine's Day.  We drove down Folsom Blvd to East Sacramento reminiscing the whole way.  We ended at the "flower church" at 51st and Dover where we attended church for about 5 years before a building was built in our area.  The building was eventually put up for sale and is now City Bible Church.  So many memories there!

Anyone remember Johnny's Barber shop

 (or when our VW caught on fire in front of it)?

It was still there but with a new name.
