It was fun celebrating Easter this year!
Our family celebrated in four states and one foreign country.
California:
The Perry girls are off to Church.
Later they hosted the Melanchuks and Grandpa and I for a celebration.
Jacob made these edible nests.
Dinner was delicious with everyone bringing food.
We got to talk to Kathryn in the Dominican Republic.
We had a nice program which Amanda had organized.
Quite a few participated with prepared thoughts
about someone who was part of the Resurrection.
Earlier there was an Easter Egg hunt.
Kansas:
Easter at the McClellans
An egg hunt on Monday worked out well.
I thought this was a great idea!
They did this to a few friends the week before Easter.
Coloring eggs is a fun tradition.
Along with regular eggs they found some plastic eggs
that could be colored.
Offered because the price of eggs has been so high.
The two families in Kansas gathered for dinner
and other activities including Easter bingo.
Easter Sunday before Church
and the special Sacrament meetings we all enjoyed.
Nathaniel was a speaker in his ward's Sacrament meeting on Easter.
It was his first talk and he did a great job!
He spoke the talk and then played the translation
after every couple of sentences.
Utah (and Julia in Illinois):

It was my first time since surgery to get out and participate in an activity.
An Easter to remember for me!

Kathryn at Zone Conference
and a couple of other recent photos.
Darryl and Amanda spent a few days in Utah recently
pinpointing an area and finally a house for their move to Utah.
Thursday evening they got to enjoy the Tabernacle Choir
rehearsal along with the orchestra and hand bell choir.
Farmington:
Nathaniel had spring break a different week from his siblings.
Amanda took him on a trip to the Sacramento Zoo
where MaryAnn joined them.
It was his first time to go to a zoo.
He had fun feeding the ducks at Land Park afterwards.
Ben graduated from BYU!
Caleb is head over heels excited about it!
Sarah went with some friends to Prom.
Final concert of the season in Salt Lake
for John, Sara, Aubrey and Bethany.
Look what movie they got to see
with the live symphony orchestra and a small choir.
Penny performed at the state level last Saturday
and received a Number One rating!

John came for a visit!
The first day we took him on a ride through the foothills
to Swingle Meat in Jackson.
We love this place!
Later that evening John barbecued some of it for us.
In the afternoon John followed Grandpa
on a long bike ride to Goethe Park and back.
We are enjoying the blooming Knock Out roses all over our backyard.
Spring is a great time of year in our family!
