Happy month of February!
Bethany has been busy crocheting these Woobles:
Pinya the Pineapple
Alice the Strawberry
We had a big rainstorm in early February and Chico got hit hard.
Some of the roads to and near the Melanchuks home:
When another storm was predicted the kids had to miss a day of school
so they wouldn't get trapped and not be able to get home.
But the rainstorms take a break too and make everything turn green.
100 mile ride from Folsom to Roseville to West Sacramento
and around to Elk Grove and then back home.
Loved seeing the countryside!
Another ride to a ranch to get these oranges.
Melanchuks saw some deer jump over their back fence but then they couldn't get out. Darryl opened the gate for them and it didn't take them long to make a getaway!
The "all-comers" track meet in Chico.
Anyone can participate of all ages and it is just for fun.
Daniel and some friends ran a relay.
Some of the teams had unique "uniforms!"
Another concert for John, Sara, Aubrey and Bethany.
The live orchestra plays the music while they watch the movie.
Before it started they had a "petting zoo"
where you could try out different instruments.
Good times in Santiago for Sister Melanchuk!
Dominicans and...
Dominican food!
Happy Birthday today to Caring Courtney!
Don't have a picture of the birthday girl celebrating today
but here she is on February 11th 2007!
Big news:We finished the Family Reunion puzzle!
Now a trip here...
...and then home to recover here:
