Eight Is Great!

Before the rest of the family got back from camping, we gave Nathaniel our presents.

Michael had made him this city/roadway with two levels for him to use with all of his cars!

We got him a couple of things...

...including some books!

Then we played some games including balloon hockey!

It was a really hot day so Michael had made a PVC pipe sprinkler so they could cool off.

Nathaniel's siblings have been great to him from Day One.  Here they all are for the first time they got to meet him in person at the NICU.

In the afternoon Darryl, Kathryn, Amelia and Daniel arrived home from a YM/YM camping trip to

McArthur-Burney Falls State Park which included a lava cave hike.

And a hike down to the falls.

They camped by a lake so they did some kayaking and canoeing.

After they all took a shower, it was time for more presents.

Nathaniel will have fun with this boy doll complete with glasses and a backpack just like him.

Kathryn made him this police station complete with a helipad on top.

After a yummy dinner, it was time for cake and ice cream.  Nathaniel frosted his own cake!

And he was able to blow out all of his own candles!!

We all had a great time celebrating Nathaniel's birthday!!
