A beautiful day heading into the golden foothills!
First stop: Our favorite farmer's market for lots of yummy produce...
It's the middle of September and California still has a good supply of fresh fruits and vegetables!
Then we took sort of a back road we have never been on before into the foothills.
And made it to a favorite destination: Apple Hill!
The outing also included lunch at the Honey Bear Apple Ranch cafe where we could look out on the apple orchards.
I will be sorry to see this year end!
