Chasing 65!

For Dan's 60th birthday he trained to ride his bike 60 miles that day.
He accomplished his goal and loved doing it!
So for his 65th birthday he wanted to train to ride 65 miles.
Unfortunately the timing of the surgery did not allow him to do that on this birthday.
What a fun surprise when we were given this poster and told that our family, kids and grandkids, would be running, walking, strolling, swimming, scooting and biking the 65 miles for him on his birthday!
They would report in with their mileage throughout the day and we could move the marker along the board.

Here is the 8:30 a.m. report:
Sara, Aubrey and Bethany=3 miles/walking
John-8.69 miles/bicycling
Heidi, Elizabeth, and Sara=8 miles/walking and running

At 10:30 a.m. the Perrys reported that Hannah and Joshua had ridden 2 miles, David had ridden his trike 1 mile and Brian walked along with him for another mile and MaryAnn had strolled the twins 1 mile:
By 3:00 p.m. Heidi reported that her family had added 6 more miles; John rode his bike home from work another 8.6 miles and the Melanchuk family  contributed 6 miles of walking:

Will we make it to 65 before the day is over??
