We had a wonderful barbecue at the Melanchuks. While Amanda prepared and Darryl grilled, Uncle Brian entertained all the kids!
Later we all drove down to our house to decorate for a parade!
It was Kathryn's idea.
We suggested going to watch a parade but she said she wanted to be IN a parade!
And they are off!
Coming around the home stretch with Kathryn as leader!
We are already making plans for another parade next year!
Afterwards Uncle Brian entertained again with tons of those black snakes
while we ate ice cream!
What a fun celebration!
