70 Is The Big One!

Dan turned 70 last Sunday!

Our trip to the Rockies was part of his celebration but on his actual birthday we had a little party with the Perrys. 

It included dinner...

  ...presents...

 ...a game...

and other fun...

...including cake and ice cream!

The celebrating continues this coming week when our whole family will be together!

Canadian Rockies: Victoria!

We traveled by ferry to Vancouver Island and drove down to Victoria

We stopped to see Shannon Falls

We stayed at the Oak Bay Beach Resort hotel right on the water

Our tour of Victoria included the Royal British Columbia Museum featuring this exhibit

Then early Saturday morning we got on the ferry...

...and headed back to the United States!

Canadian Rockies: Butchart Gardens!

We spent a few hours one morning at Butchart Gardens.

We had been there before in August but there are different things in June.
