2016 Reunon: Skit Night!

This year we had a skit night and each family performed.

Julia: Sewage worker?  Katie: 99% match.  You enjoy sewage!

Julia: I'm changing some answers.  Cherry Berry team member?  Is that a real job?  I'll change my answers until something good happens.  CFO for the League of California Cities? WHAT?

Julia:  This specifically says I am average.  Emma: Below average!

Julia: What place is there in this world for someone who is grossly unqualified?  (Reads phone) Politician!

...until he gets offered a Magic Potion that supposedly grows hair for only $19.99 and he buys 100 bottles.

His Advisors tell him that he now has hair that is: "long, thick, golden, wavy and shiny!  

The Imperial Hair Dresser needs to give him a hair cut.

Finally during a parade a young girl says: Can't you see that he doesn't have any hair!

We have all the skits on video.  

They will be fun to watch in a few years!

2016 Reunion: Splash and Bounce!

We had a fun afternoon at a nearby park!

2016 Reunion: Grandma's Garage Sale!

During one of our Reunions I had a "store" which I had stocked with all kinds of goodies for kids that I had purchased.  Tickets were earned and  then used to buy items.  

This time with the Melanchuks moving away and generally trying to downsize all of our stuff, I came up with this idea:

I had a garage sale!

And I never imagined how popular it would be.

It was almost all old stuff from my house, but one person's junk is another person's treasure.

But as with most garage sales, people come early and are eager to get to the stuff!

We had a sale for those ages 5 and under first:

Yes, I even sold some used money!

The shoppers came in 2 at a time as their names were drawn out of a bowl and given their allotted tickets to spend.

Finally, I just started giving things away.
