We had a wonderful trip to Seattle!
For some reason I did not get the best pictures or just didn't take that many.
I think everyone was always on the move.
So to make up for the pictures, you get a poem!
Day Number One and we're off to play
Seattle Children's Museum today!
Kathryn headed straight for the room of art;
Amelia followed for the painting part!
Daniel, the chef, went straight for the food,
Then he got in a truck driving mood!
The Construction Zone was next you see,
Grandpa helped build a house with all three!
Legos are fun right from the shelf;
Here's what you get when a 2-year-old dresses himself!
We climbed up a pretend mountain for some camping fun.
The girls wore these shirts which brought lots of sun!
Lunch and a nap; then we were on our way.
The Seattle Temple and reception for the rest of the day!
Got a photo of three Mikes all in one room,
Then Dan took one of the bride and groom!
We partied all night in the Cultural Hall
Too busy eating and talking to take any pictures at all!
Day Number Two and Amanda rehearsed on viola
While I got to play with this little fella!
Darryl made us breakfast and packed a lunch too.
We drove through the beautiful green forests to a place that was new!
To Remlinger Farms we showed up in our cars,
First we all watched a show where the kids were the stars!
Train rides, canoe rides and pony rides too,
The perfect place for what these kids like to do!
Farm animals, tractors and antique cars on the way
To this very fun place filled full of hay!
Then off to some more rides; time was running away
But it was just so much fun we kept wanting to stay!
The airport was calling and now it was time
To say good bye and finish this rhyme!
