We had a great trip to Utah including lots of clouds to block out the sun across Nevada.
Some friends suggested this place in Elko for dinner: Cornish Pasties.
We decided to drive up to a favorite spot: Lamoille Canyon.
We had never seen it in the Fall.
It was almost dark but the colors were beautiful
and we saw more and more snow as we went higher.
Got to see Kathryn and her apartment at Heritage Halls.
She loved the things her Mom sent!
We also got to see the Shafers and seeing that Caleb is cuter than ever!

Later we picked up Hannah after work at Cannon Center
and got her some dinner at Wendy's.
Saturday morning was the much anticipated Eclipse,
so we gathered in John's backyard and looked at the cloud cover!
Fortunately the clouds parted several times
and with the special glasses we got to see the eclipse!

Nathaniel got to go to the Pumpkin Patch!
Michael picked his pumpkin at Costco!
Nathaniel represented his class at a school-wide Agribee which is a contest that includes spelling and defining agricultural words! His interpreter is down in front helping.
He got 3rd place out of 9 participants from the 4th and 5th grades.
He also participated in his Primary program
Pastels in the Quad: Amelia and two friends did this 3' by 5' chalk drawing!
Michael had a great soccer game! He played defense, midfield and forward all in the same game and did well. He had an awesome assist on a goal in a 5-0 win.
Kathryn sang with the University Chorale which performed at a recent BYU Devotional
Sadie, newest member of the family.
She's 5 years old and fully grown, a well trained and happy girl.
A family was moving and couldn't keep her.
