Visiting the Harrisons in Kansas!

We had a fun game night!
The next morning, Saturday, we met for breakfast near Hutchinson, Kansas at The Barn.
Jeff had heard they served good food especially for breakfast.
They certainly had generous portions.  Here is my pancake and there is another one underneath it!
We liked sitting under this sign!
Saturday evening we had a pizza party with both families at the place where we were staying.
Koob was the featured fun.

Peter photo-bombing!
Sam was the man of the hour on Sunday.
He gave a great talk and the setting apart was extra special!
Home MTC looks great!
He enters the Provo MTC on Wednesday, April 6th.
(Stay tuned for one other fun activity with the Kansas Harrisons!)

Visiting the McClellans in Kansas!

We enjoyed our welcome from the McClellan girls!  Unfortunately we ate the Crumbl cookie before I got the picture so I put in a poor substitute.
Camille is very creative and crafty!
She also made this Easter wreath:
Camille now has her own room and she has been busy decorating the walls!
Camille played in the Honor Band on Saturday after practicing most of the day.
Sarah also has her own room now.  She likes to color and paint and does some beautiful work!
Sarah swam in a swim meet on Saturday.  She plays in the band and is also an excellent student.
Elizabeth and her Dad just completed this 9,000+ piece puzzle starting it during Covid.
It is impressive!  As you can see the width is almost as tall as she is.
Elizabeth works at Crumbl cookies.  She performed recently in a flute ensemble and with her school choir that earned 1 ratings in both events!  She also swam in the swim meet on Saturday.  She and Sarah were on the same relay team!  She has two proms coming up and graduates on May 15th.
She is excited to be at BYU in the fall and she already has been assigned roommates and they have been connecting.
Can't forget the great parents of these wonderful girls!

More March Fun!

The Perrys spent part of one of their spring break days with us.
Jacob and Lily were home with me.  Lily made this amazing mansion:
And Jacob used every plank and a step stool to build this amazing tower:
Meanwhile Grandpa and MaryAnn were with Joshua, Hannah and David at the temple.
Afterwards we had a special birthday lunch in honor of MaryAnn!

March Fun!

We've had two birthdays so far in March.
Aubrey turned 11 on Saturday the 5th.
She received her own set of Harry Potter books.
She hosted a fun party that included pinning the horn on the unicorn which she made!
Michael turned 11 on Saturday the 12th.
We got to participate in a fun family party with games and yummy food.
He had cake balls!
While enjoying the treat we all watched some BYU volleyball.
It turned out to be an exciting win for BYU against Concordia.
Screenshots from videos:
Joshua has been spending a lot of time practicing and competing in spinning.
Here is a competition with the judge ready to give him the start.
Yes, it's on a tennis court!
He had some pretty fancy moves with his mace (long baton) including throwing it up in the air and catching it!

He also is in the drum line playing the vibraphone and bells.  He is in the back row of musicians to the right of the people on the floor.
Kathryn spent a long weekend in Fresno in February participating in the state Honor Choir.  She had to audition and earned a spot in the women's choir.  These are also screen shots from the video.  They sounded amazing for a high school choir!
She's smack dab in the middle of the photo below.
And Happy St. Patrick's Day!
My DNA says I am 8% Irish!
