Friday Fun on Thursday!

The Melanchuks came for a visit on Thursday and we had such a great time with them!

They brought me some birthday wishes.  Nathaniel had drawn 70 candles for me!

First they stopped at the temple:

Then some lunch and fun in the backyard!

I think Amanda even had some fun!

But I think we had the most fun of all!   Thanks for coming!!

This And That in August!

Another puzzle!
Got this in the mail but I guess not much was happening in Court.  I was in the last group so never had to go in.

Love Nathaniel's Title of Liberty!

I usually make tomato soup to freeze (back) but this year I tried tomato sauce as well!

Courtney had her Graduation party in their backyard complete with toilet paper centerpieces!

Chalk art YW activity for Hannah!

Love the calendar page by Bethany this month!
Can't wait to add candles to this cake as the wishes come in!

I made a countdown chain for my birthday trip.  I don't think I've ever been so excited about a chance to get away! It's getting shorter!

Continuing Friday Fun!

TGIF: Hannah and her Dad had a fun camping trip and got home in time to come for a backyard barbecue!
I tried to remember to get a picture of the food.  I remembered half way through the serving.
The corn was still cooking:
The yummy oven fries:
Hamburgers, tomatoes, watermelon and cantaloupe were all super fresh and delicious!
Just ask Grandpa!
The kids had fun with the foxtail and Jacob got a photo of it in mid air!
And finally dessert!
Can't wait until next Friday!

Backyard Scavenger Hunt!

Jacob borrowed his Mom's phone and went around our yard taking close up pictures of things that caught his attention.
He got some amazing shots. He has an artist's eye!
Even we weren't sure where some of these things were!
Look up.  Look down.  Look all around.
There are amazing things to see!
