June Happenings So Far!

Elizabeth went to EFY in Provo and also got to visit Temple Square

 Here's a schedule for one of the days:

Sophie turned 10 and she had a party!

 That's a lot of pink presents!

 Katie is taking some horseback riding lessons.

 That horse is named: Skip!

Amelia had fun making these girls

 Nathaniel is learning to ride a bike

My Uncle Lloyd passed away on June 9th.

Jim went to the funeral.  He is with my cousin, Kent.

 Jody was also able to go.  She is with my cousins Dianne, Kent and Gary

 She was so nice to send us pictures and copies of the program:

 Thanks to Kathy's help, our family sent some flowers...

We made a trip to Oregon to visit Grandpa Ricks.

 If it's a clear day it's fun to see all of the volcanoes...

 ...and Crater Lake!

 My Dad is not feeling well.  Kathy said he enjoyed this Tootsie Roll Pop

 And he was so glad to get a hair cut from a home health aide.

Jacob is reading chapter books...

 Hannah went to the temple with three friends...

 ...and Joshua is off to Scout Camp.  They've already heard that he got to shoot a rifle and got picked to play a game called Beard Ball.

 We got to see or talk to everyone for Father's Day.

Josh got this puzzle and they had finished it by the end of the day!

We celebrated at the Perrys.  Brian likes his bow tie!

 Meanwhile, we have been spending a lot of time at the temple!

It was a busy month of May!

Here is just a sprinkling of what happened.

Emma graduated from High School:

Kathryn and Amelia went to  ward Girls Camp which was tents pitched at the swimming hole:

Amelia held a baby gator on the airboat ride:

Daniel worked on a "cool" puzzle:

The Perrys visited the Oakland Temple Open House:

Hannah was promoted from 8th grade:

Jacob and Lily graduated from Kindergarten.  

They both got special awards and had speaking parts.

Courtney made these amazing cookies:

Camille had her dance show.  

Elizabeth was in the show as well and now she is on her way to EFY in Provo.

Sarah and Camille were going to make brownies but made chocoate cake by mistake, so they ended up making cake balls.

Eleanor sang a solo in the school Variety Show.  She is taking voice lessons and sang

"Poor Wandering One" from Pirates of Penzance which if you are familiar with it, it is not an easy song.  We got a video of performance.  Amazing!

Flat Stanley arrived from Aubrey in Syracuse and he joined us at the temple.
