Amazing!

Dan has been retired for 6 months now!

One of the best things is that we can do outings together on a week day instead of trying for an evening or Saturday.

And he doesn't miss some of the events with grandchildren.

Recently we went to the Yolo Bypass Wilderness Area where millions of waterfowl spend the winter.  We went armed with cameras.  Here are some of the things we saw:

There are a LOT of birds here!

Another day we attended this Nativity Exhibit put on by another stake in our area.  We also went armed with cameras but found out when we arrived that no photos were allowed.  There were over 500 Nativities!

And we got to attend afternoon birthday parties for two of our amazing grandchildren: Hannah and Joshua!

Joshua told his Mom he was praying that he would get a scarf for his birthday with a "6" on it.  

Prayers answered--amazing!

and this new game: Wooden Spoon Guess Who?

The object is for a blindfolded person to use two wooden spoons and try to figure out who is standing in front of them.

It was fun!
